A small square porcelain brush washer decorated in the so-called ‘Robin’s Egg’ glaze, featuring a Chilong in relief. The dragon is enamelled in black.

PROVENANCE :

The brush washer comes with a certificate from the ‘The Curios Furniture & Miscellaneous Utensils & Hardware Merchants & Employees Association, Hong Kong & Kowloon,’ dated June 15, 1966. This is an interesting document as it is accompanied by a black-and-white photograph of the brush washer.
