A pair of porcelain dishes with a blue and white decoration of lotus flowers in a central medallion. Plum blossoms are also visible. The border is also decorated with lotus flowers in raised cartouches on a faded blue background with plum blossom motifs.
The reverse of the dish is decorated along the edge with Buddhist attributes.
On the back, there is a mark “Qi Yu bao ding zhi zhen” inside a double circle. This mark can be translated as “Precious as a rare Ding jade.”
