A Famille Rose porcelain teapot richly modelled with relief floral motifs and an handle and spout imitating wood, accompanied by its matching pattipan.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
This form probably inspired other manufactories, notably the Staffordshire factory. The Met’s collection includes several Staffordshire stoneware teapots with handles and spouts imitating wood and close to this model.
