An important porcelain Famille Rose wine-cooler. The body is decorated with flowers (notably peonies) together with bamboo branches and various blossoms. The neck of the bucket is adorned with a frieze repeating the body décor, on a background of brown-enamel motifs. On each side are two shell-shaped handles.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
This wine cooler is of particularly large size, unlike the commonly seen models, and could almost serve as a cache-pot.
