A Blanc de Chine porcelain figure depicting Guanyin in a relaxed pose on a rock.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
This Guanyin is of exceptional quality, embodying the characteristics of a fine Dehua figure. The figure is depicted in a particularly serene manner, in a relatively realistic and simple style. The hair is tied back, without a headdress. The hands are especially well-executed, with delicate, finely rendered fingers. The glaze is a creamy white.
