ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

The seal mark on the reverse is a “hall mark” and is difficult to decipher. However, by comparing it with the mark on the cup illustrated in Marchant, Blanc de Chine, 2006, p. 146, fig. 109, we believe it corresponds to the inscription translated as: “The Hall of the Flowing Strong Brew.”

The connection between this mark and the function of the object as a wine cup is therefore both apparent and fitting.
